Young Children

Early Intervention: Early diagnosis makes a big difference when it leads to effective treatment.

Research has shown that young children with autism who receive comprehensive, intensive intervention with ABA therapy will more likely catch up to peers by the time they are 6 years of age than are young children who receive less ABA. Young children with autism are delayed developmentally in many areas:  language, behavior, play, self-help, self-awareness, social skills, and cognition. Our approach means that each child's needs are built into every child’s program, every day, in every interaction.

School Age

As children get older, needs change. This type of learning addresses fewer things to improve self-help skills and reduce behavior problems that get in the way of learning, independent functioning, and social development. These programs for school-age children involve 10-20 hours of intervention each week. Out goals are to increase independence, successful participation in the community, participation in family activities, peer interactions and reduction of behavior problems that get in the way of learning and acceptance by others.

Teen and Adult

Focused behavioral intervention for adolescents and adults includes self-help skills, communication, and learning independent functioning in the home and community. It is our goal to help teens and adults improve their social functioning. We provide growth in these life-skills areas through well structured, guided social skills groups for children ages 7-18+. Parent/caregiver participation is an essential part of this program.
